Analysis, not breaking news

The Lombard Review publishes analysis. Each piece presents an argument about what economic or market events mean, and that argument reflects the judgment of the publication. Where we are interpreting rather than reporting, the writing is meant to make that clear.

Sourcing

We rely on primary sources wherever possible: official statistics, central-bank statements and minutes, government announcements, company filings and market prices. Figures are given with their date or reference period so readers can check them.

Corrections

We correct factual errors promptly. When a correction changes the substance of a piece, we add a note to the article explaining what was changed. To report an error, email contact@thelombardreview.com.

Photographs

Photographs are drawn from Wikimedia Commons under public-domain or Creative Commons licenses. Each photo is credited with its creator and license, and links to its source. Photos illustrate a subject, such as a central bank or a port; they do not depict the specific events described unless the caption says so.
